50-Year limited Guarantee On Materials

What is covered: All log wall materials when used in conjunction with a residential structure are warranted to the original purchaser and subsequent purchasers to be free from defects in manufacturing for fifty years from the date of purchase.

1867 Confederation Log Homes Will Do: Under this guarantee, 1867 Confederation log homes will repair or replace the defective item at its discretion. This guarantee does not cover the natural characteristics of some wood to check, warp or twist. 1867 Confederation Log Homes shall not be liable for labor, installation or shipping costs related to repair, replacement, or damages resulting from improper handling or installation. To the extent permitted by law 1867 Confederation Log Homes shall have no liability for any consequential or incidental damages caused by defective materials, and have no further liability except as expressly stated herein.

How You Can Get Service: All requests for repair or replacement of materials covered under this guarantee must be made in writing, detailing the exact nature and reason for the guarantee claim. All such guarantee claims should be sent directly to 1867 Confederation Log Homes or your local dealer.

Other Conditions: The log materials must be treated with recommended preservative within sixty (60) days, and every three (3) years thereafter; otherwise this guarantee is void. To qualify under this provision the original or subsequent purchasers must present evidence of preservative treatment. Your 1867 Confederation Log Home representative is not authorized to make any guarantees except as herein provided.
