How long does a Confederation last?

We often get asked about the longevity of our homes the answer is usually quite surprising.

At Confederation, each of our homes are guaranteed for 50, yes fifty, years.  That covers everything we manufacture.  That warranty is also transferable so if you decide to sell the home after 15 years for example, you can advertise there is still 35 years of warranty left.  However, the average lifespan of a log home is much greater than 50 years.  these are generational homes, meant to be passed down.

This particular home is 23 years old and still looks as good as it did day one.  It was built by our Owen Sound dealer Nor-Scott Construction.  Owned and operated by Nick Norton, Nor-Scott Construction has been with Confederation for 34 of our 35 year history.  They have built countless Confederation log homes ranging in numerous different sizes.  Small, medium, and large, it’s all up to you.

If you want a home that will last for generations to come, build a Confederation.  If you’re building in the Owen Sound, Grey Bruce area, call Nick at (519) 794-4502 or email at info@norscottconstruction.com
